HOT PILATES REFORMER TEACHER TRAINING
March – June 2026 | West Hollywood, CA
Train Classical. Teach Anywhere.
The Hot Pilates Reformer Teacher Training is a Classical Pilates education designed for the modern instructor — one who wants depth, credibility, and the ability to teach confidently in today’s studios.
This program teaches the complete Classical Reformer system — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced — exactly as it exists within the Pilates method. You’ll learn the orders in full, understand their purpose and progression, and be tested on them with clear standards.
At the same time, you’ll learn how to teach real classes — group Reformer, mixed-level rooms, contemporary studio formats — without losing the integrity of the work.
Strong foundation. Real-world skill. Hot Pilates energy.
Modern Teaching Skills (Without Compromising the Method)
Being a great instructor today requires more than knowing exercises.
This program includes education that most Classical trainings simply don’t offer:
Applied anatomy and biomechanics for teachers
Group exercise science and safety standards
How to confidently teach group Reformer classes
Contemporary Reformer variations taught through Classical logic
These tools don’t replace the method — they support it. You’ll leave knowing how to teach responsibly, intelligently, and professionally in a wide range of studio environments.
Mentorship, Accountability, and Real Support
Learning to teach Pilates takes time — and questions come up constantly. That’s why this program includes biweekly apprentice review sessions, not just weekend intensives. You’ll have regular space to:
• Ask questions
• Practice teaching
• Get feedback
• Refine your skills in real time
This is not a “show up, disappear, test out” training. We’re invested in your growth.
We Believe in the Entire Pilates System
At Hot Pilates, we don’t see the Reformer as a standalone modality. We see it as one part of a larger, integrated method that includes Mat, Chair, Cadillac, and Barrels.
This Reformer training is intentionally designed as:
• A standalone Classical Reformer certification, and
• A clear step toward optional comprehensive Classical education
Future Classical apparatus trainings — Tower/Cadillac, Wunda Chair, and Barrels — are planned for Fall 2026 for apprentices who want to continue toward a Comprehensive Classical Pilates certification.
Who This Training Is For & Prerequisites
This program is for you if you:
• Want to become a Reformer Pilates instructor
• Care about learning the Classical method — not just choreography
• Want to teach both Classical and Contemporary Pilates
• Are interested in long-term growth and comprehensive education
• Thrive in a challenging, supportive, high-standard environment
You do not need to be an advanced Reformer practitioner — but you do need to be in good
physical health, and have a consistent Pilates practice and a serious commitment to learning.
You must complete a minimum of 10 group Reformer classes at Hot Pilates before starting
this program.
